Sunrise / Sunset

Artist Statement 

In Utah, I encountered a unique rock formation that had layers of rock, separated, in the front and in the back. When you looked at it from a specific angle it appeared to be an eye. 

This stained glass sculpture was inspired by this experience, how perspective and individual interpretation play a part in how we analyze and create opinions. 

Our individual viewpoints can impact our understanding and appreciation of the world around us. I challenge myself and others to look at everything from multiple perspectives.
